My first pattern tournament

As sluttish and slatternly as an Irishwoman bred in France.
As the best wine makes the sharpest vinegar, the truest lover may turn into the worst enemy.
As the big hound is, so will the pup be.
As we live, so we learn.

An advertisement for a meaningful event..
--------------volunteers needed!!!----------------------
There will be an interactive session with the students from Asian Women's Welfare Association [AWWA] on the 21st June, in order to allow volunteers to comprehend the humanitarian cause of helping the disadvantaged.

It will be held at the Family Service Centre (near Boon Keng MRT Station) and will be a great opportunity to interact and learn how fortunate we are.

For more details, don’t hesitate to SMS or call or tag me. Ask Swee Shoon also can. ^-^

Yang Mui: "Going for the monday briefing, i am. and ah..the advert i copy and paste from ss, but the layout mine mah..hahah.."
Woohooo~
Looking forward to freakfast! So long never smell the canteen O.olll haha~ but Shi Min will be missing out on the fun… oh well… when school term begins again I guess… I don think I will be giving up on advertising for the ‘event’ anytime soon… still got to gunner up volunteers…
-pulls out the puppy dog eyes-
Anyone interested? Please let me know…

The weather today was nuts. I was caught in the rain with Elaine on our way to the Whampoh CC. But the rain did not last for long… speaking of which… I need to go air my umbrella…
-does just that-
OK… tomorrow morning then take it… gosh~ my memory has gone out the window…
-shakes head-
We went to Whampoh for the TKD pattern tournament.
Practically everyone I know from TKD class took part in the competition.
Spent a lot of time practicing my group and I did for our patterns.
A bundle of nerves I was and so were the people round me.
While lining up for my turn on the ‘floor’, a girl from the group behind mine commented that she was very scared. I turned around and told her that everyone else was scared as well, so there was nothing to be worried about… wah… i donno where that came from man~
We had a good laugh here and there. I enjoyed poking Elmo.
-evil laughter-
I can’t believe that he is in the Navy… I had no idea what so ever… then again, I think the sever tan should have been a clue… hahaha….
-continues with the evil laughter-
Anyway, we did the patterns and had mad rushes to different parts of the CC at various intervals… God provided me with the peace of mind not to freak out and I even had to calm down some of my group members. It would have been horrendous if I had been the one to ‘lose it’.
The outcome of the tournament for me was:
Yellow – Bronze
Green – Gold
Heehee… you can imagine my happiness~
All praise goes to God! Woohooo~

We took a lot of pictures as well, but it was not using my camera, I guess I will have to wait to get the pictures from the others… there were many people with cameras… many… wish me luck in getting all of those pictures xia~

Once we finished our ‘business’ matters at the CC, we (I, Hui Fen, Chi Foong and another girl whose name I still can’t remember) made a beeline to the nearest McDonalds… the food was good~ You would have said the same thing too if you had waited till 2pm like we did before being let off and able to finally get some food into our tummies.
By the time we finished out late lunch, we were less than 3 hours away from thje start of training at PLKCC, so Hui fen, Chi Foong and I did not go home and instead went straight to the CC for training. XD In doing so, I successfully spent a total of 10+ hours in my gi. O.o That is the longest period of time so far. I wonder when I will break that record…
-goes into gee thought-
At the CC, the three of us were allowed to take things easy, (i.e. we did not have to do the usual exercises) mainly because we had already had a long morning and we were in charge of the class for the day… Mr. Chow was late for the class due to a referee course he had to attend to. The things one has to do when one is a high ranking coach~
The turn out of kids today was rather small, so that was kind of on my side, I took the class for a about half the session and spent the rest of the time learning some self defense moves from Chi Foong. I tell you, that guy is a total over achiever in disguise! Bui ta han ah! Great time I had learning and trying out my new moves… hopefully I will never have to use them in the future… pacifist - I am.
Time flew and class ended, went home we all had to… dinner was waiting for me… for once I was not that hungry… given the fact that I ate a pretty late lunch, I guess I should not be too surprised… I am just missing my Ben and Jerry’s… *sigh~*

I had a very good day.
Yes, I did.
It’s a good start to new week, there’s a lot to do and if today is any indicator of how much fun I am going to have… I can hardly wait! Wooohooooo~

To everyone having a good week!
Cheers!
^-^
